Five stars for Jungle Jive. We had a lovely stay here. Paul and Alex are very helpful, the room has a beautiful view, in the middle of the nature and they also have a big swing. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Had an amazing experience staying in the tree house for 3 nights. Breakfast provided was good, home made. The staff were helpful and kind enough to help us through small difficulties. It is a treehouse built amidst tea estate n lots of greenery. So expect a basic accomodation with a lovely couple managing the property. You can't expect infrastructure like the normal hotels.

If you are searching for a place with great weather, some adventurous stay, a relaxing place to spend your vacation... This is the place i would recommend. Amazing tree house. Beautiful view, and service is absolutely better than any other homestays...and best part, there is huge and long swing in their tea estate you'll love it. They gave us complimentary English breakfast and south Indian breakfast. It was just wow. I would say it's worth it. After working for months and weeks you really need to relax and break from work.....this is it.. just book prior a week and go there....

If you are a nature lover, this is one of the best homestays you can chose. Of course, it comes with few ups and downs. Rooms could be maintained a bit more better. Washrooms are clean and hot water running 24/7. Plantations around the house are a treat to watch. Owners were polite and conversations went very smooth. Swing midst the plantations is something you won't find anywhere else in munnar. As it is a tree house, ants and stuff on floors are expected. Food is ordered from hotels outside.delivery charges apply . Care taker guy is very helpful .Campfire and music are a bonus. So.. nature lovers .. you can 100 percent go for this.

Jungle Jive is a hidden gem and staying there has been, so far, the highlight of our trip to India. If you’re a nature lover and want to truly experience the essence of Munnar, living in the treetops, surrounded by birds and tea plantations this is your place. We stayed in the treehouse for 2 nights, the room was tastefully decorated, very spacious and with all the necessary amenities. Paulson and his family were extremely kind and accommodating, and cooked a homemade breakfast for us every morning with products from their farm (fresh tea leaves, cardamom, pepper). We went for nice walks around the estate and made good use of the rooftop in the treehouse, to practice daily yoga and meditation. We can’t wait to go back to this peaceful oasis!

This place is a scam. We booked and had a booking confirmation. Then they gave our booking away. Stay away from these people. They have very low values and are just scamming people

The one major drawback is the owner prefers big groups over single room bookings. The property is in midst of a tea plantation and is nice. The host is also nice but asked me to vacate my tree house which I booked weeks in advance for a larger group who wanted to stay together and told me to move to another bunglow whereas I wanted to stay in a treehouse for 2 more nights. They have 4 treehouse rooms. Later the large group didnt stay in the treehouse so he called me again to come back. By that time I booked another place for myself. Otherwise the place is nice but could be maintained better but I guess I was happy with the place. Its a bit secluded so need to order food from a nearby hotel.
